It automatically upgraded me, then I automatically downgraded it myself.

It gone. I missed the deadline to go back and now I’m stuck.

I don’t miss Windows 7. In fact, each time I have to use 7 I’m reminded of how 3.1 felt after 95 debuted.

The only major complain I have about 10 at this point is the popup ads for Office, which seem tricky to disable.

I don’t know what they were thinking with that screen though. It is as you say incredibly ominous.

I switched over a month ago as I’m starting to roll out 10 at work. I did a clean install but I like it. There were some setting/formatting options that I had to dig a little bit to change, but now that I have it setup the way I want I like it better than 7. It’s pretty much the same anyway.

It’s been incredibly unstable for me. I’ve never had a crash on Win7 but I expect one everytime I boot up.

I hear your pain, I switched over on my laptop - but think in the long term. This was a free update, and you’ll HAVE to switch by the end of July to get it anyway.

Did you update, or clean install? I tried updating first and it was terrible (I knew it would be). It would not find drivers for anything and the fan was running full tilt no matter what. Even after manual installation of drivers it was still being finicky. I would try an clean install no matter what you decide (7 or 10)

Update. Very crashy. Clean install: Somewhat crashy. Several patches: Still too damn crashy. Hopefully today’s mega update will be the end of the crashes.

That’s weird, are you on old hardware? Even on a clean install, Win 10 spent less than 10 minutes on all necessary updates. Although everything I have tested it on has been quad core/at least 8gb/ssd.

My work computer “upgraded” last night and it’s fucked.

I just got upgraded without asking. I kept cancelling the popup asking me too. Woke up one morning this week to this same message. It keeps crashing one piece of software if I switch printers. Cortana can suck it!
